DBMA is a French Electronic Rock band created in 2016 by Dorian Beltran (DBMA) and is composed of DBMA, ODD and LCB.
DBMA is the outcome of four unique characters colliding in the world of D, beyond the concept of alienation and constituting an existential questioning, a survival strategy maybe: is it possible to create several personalities and face any challenge in this world?
The band produces original pop/rock compositions styled in an electronic new wave flavour. All content is written and recorded by Dorian Beltran (DBMA).
A culmination of continuous self-training and experimentation, strengthened by two collective experiences with successful bands Underdeep and The Bohemians, multi-instrumentalist Dorian Beltran embarked on solo adventure DBMA in 2016 with his first single Cop Out.
In response to an advertisement, LCB joined DBMA as a live drummer. His training at the Campus des Musiques Actuelles in Valenciennes quickly made him an indispensable partner.
Their first demo EP Auto-Tune was released a few weeks later before the release of new single Way in 2019 - influenced by the likes of Crystal Castles, Foals, New Order and Depeche Mode.
RoB later joined DBMA after a stint with the pop/punk band Attractive Revenge. His commitment to revitalising current music, notably through his association, is a major asset for the group.
DBMA and RoB met in 2018 when DBMA was looking for an artistic director for Yellow Shadow (from the demo EP Auto-Tune).
After Rob’s departure, Odd joins DBMA as a guitarist
In 2022 DBMA released the single Ex-Plosive
In 2023 DBMA released the new single and new music video clip “Skin Envy “
